Lough Sallagh Lodges has been developed through Fáilte Ireland’s Regenerative Tourism and Placemaking Scheme, which is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union, through the EU Just Transition Fund.

Project Description 

Lough Sallagh Lodges is proud to announce that our Accessible Self-catering Accommodation in Ballinamuck, Co. Longford is being co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the EU Just Transition Fund.

This funding represents an important milestone in the development of Lough Sallagh Lodges, enabling us to create a unique accessible holiday destination in Irelands Hidden Heartlands while promoting sustainable tourism, inclusion and environmental responsibility.

With the support of the EU Just Transition Fund, we are enhancing our visitor facilities, improving accessibility, and delivering unique holiday experience that encourages guests to slow down, reconnect with nature, and embrace the benefits of the natural beauties of the countryside of the Midlands.
